Andrea Coaching

A life time of experience supported by NCAS EA coaching qualifications ensures you are in good hands when you enlist Andrea to assist and guide you with your training.   Andrea has extensive experience in both jumping, dressage and showing having competed successfully to a high level in all three disciplines. Riders of all levels are welcome and from all riding backgrounds including Pony Club, HRCAV and EA.

Irrespective of whether you have competition aspiration or you just want to enjoy your riding and keep learning, training with Andrea will bring the best out in both you and your horse. It is inevitable that her diligence to correct training systems and commitment to total consistency will propel you towards your personal goals.  From her own riding and training experiences she believes that horses and riders develop most positively when they have a clear and simple system or plan to follow.  Through regular lessons Andrea provides each individual combination with solid structure and direction that enables them to move forward on a harmonious journey with their horse towards their individual goals.

While Andrea coaches predominately from her beautiful property in Table Top she is also available for club days, private coaching days away from home, and from time to time runs clinics at Table Top.  Presently, Andrea coaches every Monday at Yackandandah and on Tuesday evenings at Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre.

If you would like to enquire about the possibilities of joining any of these activities do not hesitate to contact her.

Endorsement

Andrea Williams has been my coach, mentor and friend for the last seven years.  During this time I have come to greatly admire and respect Andrea for her innovative  teaching style and for her (nearly) infinite patience,  but most of all for her great love for all horses as individuals and what they can offer us and bring to our lives.

Andrea has been my valued “eyes on the ground” that every rider must have if they want to train horses correctly and compete successfully. She has taken me from an eventing rider with little aptitude for straight dressage,  to someone who is now consistently placing in Level 1 and 2 HRCAV dressage competitions and Novice and Elementary EA.

One of my horses, Isle of Hazeldine (“Hazy”),  has been quite a challenge.  Andrea has helped me to overcome some of her issues and encouraged me to ignore the others.  Without Andrea there to support me  I am quite sure I would have given up on her entirely (which some might say would not have been a bad thing!!)  When we started out  Hazy was only 4 years old and totally impossible as she would spook at absolutely everything.   Six years on we will start competing at Advanced Level Dressage in 2015.  Andrea has patiently helped me through each of the levels,  teaching me the ringcraft and skills needed to make my way up through the grades.

I have been inspired by Andrea’s own journey during this time as she has battled on in the face of personal adversity. She never gives up on a horse and is now successfully competing on  horses that others could not manage.

Andrea herself continues to be coached by very experienced riders and selflessly passes on their wisdom and the benefit of her own experiences.  Her lessons are affordable and she is willing to teach groups and can handle 2 or more riders at different levels in a lesson with great skill.  In all the time she has coached me I have always been challenged by her lessons and the exercises she has presented.  They are usually targeted to address issues that we are experiencing  and I have never been bored or felt that I didn’t take away something from a training session that would help me at home.

Thanks Andrea!!
